Krysta & Brian

Saxe Point Park

April 25th. That was the day Krysta and Brian would gather with family and friends to celebrate their commitment to love—or so they thought. As April drew closer, the threat of Covid-19 became more of a reality. Ultimately, they decided to postpone their reception to next year some time, but go ahead with their ceremony. Only a few local friends came and watched from a distance while others tuned in via livestream of their big day.

I was extremely impressed with how they handled the situation. I'm sure there were moments, before the day, when sadness crept in, though you wouldn't have known it. They are eternal optimists and found the beauty and fun in celebrating their love the way they were able. Oddly, or maybe not, they seemed to appreciate the moment that much more because of the circumstance. They didn't let a little global pandemic get in the way of their wedding day. Jokes aside, the spring breeze and building storm clouds in the distance offered perfect light and backdrop to capture these wonderful moments of wonderful people.
